Pin Grading System
Pins are HANDMADE items and should be not expected to be completely flawless. We will not sell any pins that do not measure up to our standards of quality. If you receive a pin you are unhappy with, please email us your concerns.
Standard Grade - Very few or minimal flaws at arm's length. Flaws may include, but are not limited to, light plating imperfections, light scratches, small specks, slight discoloration, minimal screenprinting imperfections, small air bubbles, or slight enamel underfill and/or overfill.
B Grade - Minor flaws at arm's length. Flaws may be more apparent and visible but do not ruin the overall appearance of the pin. Flaws may include, but are not limited to, more noticeable enamel underfill or overfill, moderate scratches to the enamel or plating, more visible air bubbles within the enamel, mild discoloration, slight screen printing errors (such as slight misalignment, light scratches), etc.
C Grade - More apparent flaws at arm's length. Flaws are easier to spot and are more noticeable. Flaws may include, but are not limited to, larger areas of enamel underfill or overfill, major screen printing imperfections (such as heavy misalignment), discolored enamel, deep scratches, missing plating/enamel, etc.
P4P Grading
We do not strictly grade P4P. We will make sure major face flaws are avoided.
Problems like bent back posts and issues with the backstamp aren't part of the grading process. Any damage that occurs during shipping is not something we can control.
